The Southlander is a hand knit wool fisherman beanie, knit on the Norwegian South Coast. Knit with a classic rib-knitting technique and created without any tag or marking, it is very stretchy and adaptable, and you can fold it as you will.
To fight the itch, we've gone with 80% sheep wool sourced from Paraguay, and processed in one of Norways oldest yarn mills, on the West Coast. The Paraguayan climate is excellent for producing soft wool, and ensuring no itch.
Sheep wool is known for its ability to draw a lot of moisture into itself, leaving your skin dry even when sweating. It is also naturally anti-bacterial, and can go a long time only being aired out, not washed.
